I like systems that keep working after the meeting ends.
My approach starts close to the work. I pay attention to where ownership gets fuzzy, where handoffs fail, and where teams are compensating for weak systems with effort alone.
Then I look for the structural fix: clearer accountability, cleaner workflows, better visibility, and decision-making that does not rely on institutional folklore or one heroic operator holding everything together.
